Pre and post test results of 27 participants indicate that this approach has been highly successful as a learning tool. The tests had a total of 19 items. The average gain that teachers had was of six items with a standard deviation of two items. Five of the questions were at the level of memory (factual), five of comprehension and five of application. Seventy per cent of teachers answered factual questions correctly, while 49% answered questions at the level of comprehension correctly and 35% did the same at the level of application. The t-test showed that the difference in the averages of the post tests and the pres tests was statistically significant. All the teachers answered affirmatively when asked if they would implement these activities in their classrooms and all of them were welcomed programmed visits by professors to participate in the implementation of the activities in their classrooms.
