FRL and the OMLI implementation score together account for approximately 35% of the variance in the percent of students who met or exceeded the standard (R2 = .335). Of that the percent of students who qualify for FRL is a strong negative predictor (Beta=-.444) of student achievement while the OMLI implementation score is a strong positive predictor of student achievement (Beta = .390). In other words the more the schools implement the 5 traits used to calculate the implementation index score, the more students met or exceeded the standards on the state mathematics assessments.
