Sustaining Momentum for Improvement

Abstract

This paper addresses the following claim(s): "By actively engaging educators in extended, collaborative learning experiences focused on strengthening the teaching and learning of mathematics and science, SW PA Math Science Partnership built ownership of key sustainable strategies for continuous improvement: collaboration via professional learning communities. By explicitly requesting reflections from educators, SW PA MSP gathered evidence of ownership of that strategy, and insured that local voices added credence to the oft published endorsement of Professional Learning Communities."
